My Dad's birthday - had a beautiful roast pork for lunch, a swim and then played Scotland Yard with my brother and sister, a boardgame from our childhood.
Said goodbye to my sister and her family. I find it hard to not know when we are going to see them again but I guess that is life isn't it.... Everyone has to find their own path.
I just wish sometimes that I could have everyone I love close to me all the time. As I grow older and as I bring a child into this world I am getting the need more and more to keep in touch and see my immediate and my extended family. It's just a pity that my family don't feel the same but I am so determined to create a world where my son knows and loves all of the people in his family.
That is so important to me to make it a reality and I promise you Paddy that I will.....
