A decision has been made

We are no longer homeless (we hope). We had a family/business meeting and made a sensible decision to put off buying a farm. I hate sensible decisions! But our business has other opportunities at the moment and buying a farm would mean we wouldn't be able to go through with these things.

So we are renting. And we are renting by the beach!! I have always wanted to live on the beach and see the water when I wake up and now I can. We inspected a house last night - it is old with lots of brown tiling and wallpaper but it is over the road from the water and close to work and friends which is important.

So the application goes in for renting the house today - wish us luck!!

I need to send out a big thank you to everyone who posted a comment. Your support is so appreciated and it really did help me start focusing on the positives in a situation that has completely turned our lives upside-down. Thank you so much.

Let's hope next time we talk I will be surrounded by brown tiles and bad wallpaper......

good luck with the application. As the old addage goes, when one door closes another door opens. I hope brown tiles and bad wallpaper start getting some attention.
